UK Youth Parliament launch action against knife crime
The UK Youth Parliament has launched a campaign calling for a reduction in knife crime across the UK The campaign ‘Action against knife crime’ calls on the government to combat violence through education in schools and community groups. 1.1 million young people declared knife crime a top concern in the UK Youth Parliament’s Make Your Mark ballot. The organisation is also campaigning to lower the voting age to 16.
